Biluochun leaves are small and curly, resembling the shape of snail shells. The leaves are vibrant green in color and have a delicate, tender appearance.
Aroma: Biluochun is prized for its exquisite aroma, which is often described as a combination of floral and fruity notes. The fragrance is fresh, invigorating, and captivating, enticing the senses with its sweet and refreshing scent.
Taste: When brewed, Biluochun tea offers a complex and well-balanced flavor profile. The initial taste is refreshingly crisp and slightly vegetal, followed by a subtle hint of sweetness. It has a distinct umami quality, and a slight nutty undertone may also be detected. The overall taste is smooth, mellow, and highly enjoyable.
Method of brew:
- Preheat the teapot or teacup by rinsing it with hot water.
- Use 2-3 grams of Bi Luo Chun tea leaves for every 200 ml of water.
- Heat the water to 80-85°C (176-185°F) to avoid scorching the delicate leaves.
- Pour the heated water over the tea leaves and let steep for about 2-3 minutes.
- Strain the tea leaves and pour the brewed tea into the teacup to enjoy.
