Silver Needle tea is the most expensive variety of white teas. The tea leaves of Silver Needle are slender and silver-white in color, exhibiting an elegant appearance with remarkable elasticity. The tea leaves are covered in abundant fine white hairs, which are a prominent feature of Silver Needle. The brewed tea presents a light yellow color, appearing clear and transparent.
Aroma:
Silver Needle emits a unique and gentle aroma, exuding a refreshing floral scent and subtle fruity notes. The aroma is long-lasting and pleasurable.
Flavor:
Silver Needle offers a fresh and mellow taste with a smooth mouthfeel, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. Each sip reveals the delicacy and richness of the tea infusion.
Method of brew:
- Take approximately 3-5 grams of Silver Needle tea leaves.
- Brew the tea leaves with hot water at a temperature of 75-85°C (167-185°F)
- Allow the tea leaves to steep in the hot water for around 30-60 seconds. Subsequent infusions can be slightly extended based on personal preference.
- Silver Needle tea can generally be brewed for 3-4 times, with each infusion maintaining a rich and aromatic taste.
